Christmas 2010

I know this photo is a bit out of order but I forgot to post a couple weeks ago.

Danny and I are looking forward to a new year and what may come our way. We are so thankful for God's provisions throughout the year and numerous times of encouragement from family and friends. I'm grateful for all the lessons learned along the way even though some were most painful but I do know a few things, God's grace and love has sustained us, his wisdom has helped us in decision making, his mercy has shown us compassion and his presence in our lives have changed us. May 2011 bring about changes in you that make you more and more like Christ. Happy New Year!

Home Schooling P.E. in Mexico

Cholula(our town) has a beautiful track and field that we have access to for P.E. It has workout equipment and is open to the public. We go 3 times a week.
Up behind Garrett's head is the famous Catholic church planted on top of a pyramid in Cholula. It's a must see if you come for a visit.

The kids are loving it and I have the chance to work out as well.

A night at Africam with friends

On our way to the wild animal park we found a mother cow and her calf running the streets and joining the traffic, I wonder how long it took the owners to find them? Only in Mexico!

A group of friends had the privilege of going to Africam, thanks to Tracey! Once a year between Christmas and New Year's they open the wild animal park at night so their visitors can experience the animals when they are wide awake! We had a group of 24 on the tour bus together and the best part was watching the lions eat dinner!

Garrett's 14th Birthday Dinner

Garrett smiling with his grandparents. We made Garrett's favorite for his birthday...Chinese and some Japanese thrown in there. His cousins Yonane, Athalie and Azrielle joined us, sorry the photo is a bit blurry

The Tamez's and El Puente Church

Danny and the sound crew one Sunday morning.

Garrett's first time playing in church and Katelyn was doing sign language. They were so nervous but a great experience for the both of them.

Speaking Engagement

Over the past 2 years I have had some great opportunities to speak in my church and to groups of women here in Puebla Mexico. It's something I really enjoy and hope to continue, Lord willing. The woman standing beside me is translating for me.

Katelyn is loving this hug, not sure if Garrett is.

I hope to always remember them like this.....

Garrett...

My son Garrett practically grown up. He's 14 now and I can no longer call him those cute childhood names. I'm having to grow up with him.
He is such a creative kid with a wonderful sense of humor. He loves to read, play his guitar, invent and build. Math comes easy to him and he loves science. He's kind and loving and I just think the world of him.

Katie Kat.....

My beautiful Katie Kat. My daughter has given us more laughs and joy than you can imagine. She's creative, funny, has lots of energy, loving, Daddy's girl, loves to sing, smart and has a heart for Jesus.
