Last summer we discovered a great Science Center in Austin Texas while visiting our friends Jesse and Mercedes Morgan. If you bring in insects, animal carcasses or things from nature and tell the instructor a little bit about them you can receive points that go towards items they have in the classroom. The last photo shows Garrett standing in front of the many choices. Well, ever since then the kids look for bugs and insects that are a bit different and saved them for our recent trip. Katelyn ended up with 300 points and choose to save them for another time and Garrett had 300 that he spent on a shark tooth and a possum skull. It's a great program and the kids have learned a lot and have become bug lovers!
